Type II and III hypersensitivity and other autoimmune conditions are a significant cause of kidney disease around the world, most notably IgA nephropathy and lupus nephritis. Less common problems include membranous and membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis. The naturopathic approach to diagnosis and management of patients with these conditions, as well as autoimmune vasculitides that commonly cause autoimmune kidney damage, will be discussed. Case studies will be used to highlight real-world approaches and outcomes.
