Original Date: May 28, 2022

Shen will be explored in a conversation with Jeffrey Dann with Bob Quinn and Daniel Silver all of whom have Japanese acupuncture practices with this influence -grown from Dann’s work. The Japanese interest in heart-kidney, and then a layered tissue energetics for improved vitality and deepened structural appreciation to the body’s organization and movement as part of diagnostics and treatment will be the theme. This structural appreciation which adheres in varied ways, due to the historic influence of blind practitioners -features subtle nuances for using structural organization and movement. These are explored as dependent on refined palpation and the layers of practitioner sensation. Techniques for superficial, yet delicate needle work, are layered with an integrated manual approach including Sotai movement therapy, Kokoro and Koshi.
