1) Overview of Adjustment Disorder per DSM V criteria.
2) Overview of Major Depressive Disorder per DSM V criteria.
3) Discussion of differences and similarities including time frame.
4) Discussion of ethical considerations when treating Depression in what may be a time limited condition.
5) Discussion of "big picture thinking" in regards to treatment of what may be a time limited condition.
6) Picking agents and discussing options with the patient.
7) Considerations for Agent: ease of titration and discontinuation, potential/ probability of SE.
8) Consideration for treatment: clients perception, likelihood of remission, history of previous illness, overall impact (to multiple domains) to ADL/ quality of life/ cognitive function.
9) Answer questions.
